B.S. Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology - University of Ghana
I am a dedicated researcher whose work spans the fields of microbiology, antimicrobial resistance, and water quality. I pursued a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Ghana, where I was exposed to the realm of microbiology
Delving deeper into microbiology as a Research Assistant at the Department of Medical Microbiology, University of Ghana, I realized the profound interconnectedness of different fields of science and the critical role environmental factors play in the emergence and spread of microbial agents, thereby shaping my research interests. Currently, I am interested in exploring how environmental pollutants contribute to the emergence and spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. This complex synergy drives my passion for uncovering the secrets of microbial ecosystems and understanding the intertwined nature of human health, animal health, and the environment.
I am committed to collaborative research and believe in the power of knowledge sharing and learning from others. My goal is to provide innovative solutions that improve the quality of life through scientific advancements and practical applications.
